The Rocket Espresso Appartamento TCA is a compact home espresso machine that combines Rocket Espresso's distinctive Italian styling with temperature control, a heat exchanger boiler, and the classic E61 thermosyphon group head. Designed for home baristas, the Appartamento TCA provides a streamlined espresso workflow while maintaining a compact countertop footprint.
The TCA system provides four selectable temperature presets that can be adjusted through the brew lever interface. Combined with the 1.8-liter copper heat exchanger boiler and 2.5-liter internal water reservoir, the machine is designed for preparing espresso and steaming milk without requiring a permanent water connection.
Temperature Control Adjustment System
The Appartamento TCA features an internal electronic temperature control system with four selectable temperature presets. The settings provide different temperature options that can be selected according to the coffee being prepared.
- 196°F: Temperature preset for lighter roast profiles.
- 200°F: Temperature preset for medium roast profiles.
- 203°F: Temperature preset for medium-dark roast profiles.
- 208°F: Temperature preset for darker roast profiles.
E61 Thermosyphon Group Head
The Appartamento TCA uses a commercial-style E61 brass thermosyphon group head. Its lever-operated design provides a traditional espresso preparation experience, while the thermosyphon system circulates heated water through the brewing system to support temperature stability.
1.8-Liter Copper Heat Exchanger Boiler
The machine features a 1.8-liter copper heat exchanger boiler. The heat exchanger configuration allows espresso brewing and steam production to take place at the same time, making it suitable for preparing espresso-based drinks that require steamed milk.
High-Pressure Vibration Pump
A calibrated vibration pump supplies water to the brewing system from the internal reservoir. The pump is designed to provide consistent pressure during espresso extraction while keeping the machine self-contained for countertop operation.
2.5-Liter Internal Water Reservoir
The Appartamento TCA uses a removable 2.5-liter water reservoir, eliminating the need for a permanent water connection. A front indicator light also provides a visual indication of the machine's operating status and can signal when the water level is low.
